Author Guidelines

The submission file ("Full Paper") must formatted according to "Sample ICTer Conference Paper" format. (MS WordPDF)

Use IEEE PDF eXpress website (http://www.pdf-express.org/) to verify your paper as IEEE compatible PDF.

Papers

Papers should describe the results of completed/on-going research or cutting-edge technology deployment.

Tutorials/Workshops

Tutorial/Workshop proposal on topics of current interest are solicited from technology experts and should provide a quick in-depth introduction to the topic concerned. The formats for tutorial are Full Day (2 Session) or Half-Day (1 Session).

Before submitting your paper or proposal for tutorials, please read author guidelines and prepare your submission according those instructions. Submissions which will not follow those instructions will be not accepted for review process.

You are required to agree each of those conditions to review your submission. (Including proposals for Tutorials)

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
  7. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.
